Be sure your WEC3 firmware is supported in the App Store changelogs.  Often the latest firmware is first released for use with the Web UI, at 192.168.2.2, and may not be immediately compatible with the Pixel Dancer Apps.  See WEC3 product pages for the latest firmware versions.
